Oh friends! Andrew + Ellen’s wedding day happened despite a worldwide pandemic. And what a day it was! I just loved all of the laughter and tears that were all throughout the day. I was so delighted that they chose to do a first look so that we could actually capture all of the joy and love that poured over on this day. Wait till you see it… it was one of the sweetest. Both Ellen + Andrew said more than once how much they liked the first look and how it really took a lot of the nervous energy away. That is definitely one of the many benefits of a first look! But that’s a whole different blog post…
I loved the idea they had to write their own vows and read them to each other right after their first look. It made their day that much more personal; from their inside jokes and stories to the profession of the things they hold most dear in life to, of course, the promise to beholden to each other forever and always. Ellen + Andrew are definitely two fun-loving spirits and it was easy to see that their friends and family are as well. Lance and I had so much fun celebrating this union and I’m so excited to share our favorite images from the day with you!
Ellen + Andrew, thank you for trusting us with your amazing wedding day. The honor was completely ours. Cheers, my friends! 🥂
Oh this first look… [sigh]
There is just no other point in a wedding day that you can capture this magic! There just isn’t. First looks are where it’s at. <3
